Kristian Skånberg, at the Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED), will publicly defend his doctoral thesis on 5 June 2026. In his thesis he explores analytical tools and methods for expanding society’s natural resource accounting and how systems thinking and future scenarios can be utilised to improve governance towards more sustainable development.

Enhanced monitoring of Canvas Security and technical preparedness have been strengthened following the cyber incident and the suspected data breach involving the Canvas learning platform. KTH has increased monitoring of the system, and the central crisis management team has handled the incident and has been temporarily reinforced by the IT Department. The supplier, Instructure, has also introduced new protective measures and enhanced monitoring to reduce the risk of future attacks. | | | |
