Royal recognition for steel research
Receiving a prestigious scholarship is always a milestone. Receiving it from the King of Sweden makes it even more memorable. When Carl XVI Gustaf handed KTH researcher Yu-Chiao Lu (Ishana) a scholarship she had brought something for the King as well.

Rising costs of facilities in focus
In his latest blog post, President Anders Söderholm highlights the growing financial pressure caused by rising rental costs at KTH and calls for targeted government support. While recent funding for the Royal Institute of Art is a welcome step, more action is needed to address the structural challenges facing universities in Stockholm.

Project
update: Neighborhood-based support
A project is underway to develop a proposal for organising support for facilities, security, and related services in a more neighbourhood-based structure at KTH. The aim is also to clarify and coordinate other day-to-day services, making them easier to use and more consistent across KTH.
