materials science,
- appoint two affiliated faculty: in industrial dynamics and in human-centred
production systems,
- establish several courses,
- establish a revised curriculum for the 2026/2027 academic year for the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering programme,

Doctoral programmes to be phased out
The Faculty Council proposes that the doctoral programmes at KTH be phased out and replaced with a structure based on research subjects and departments. The change is expected to take effect at the turn of the year. "The programmes no longer contribute to ensuring high-quality research education, but have instead become an administrative burden," says KTH's Dean of Faculty Sofia Ritzén. Read the article

The election to the University Board is now completed. The voter turnout was 31,06 per cent. Svante Linusson, Wouter van der Wijngaart and Gunilla Ölundh Sandström have been elected by the teachers for the period 1 May 2026–31 April 2029.

Correct personal information in the IT systemKTH is now adapting to the way Swedish authorities manage personal data. This means that KTH employees’ first and last names, as well as home addresses, will correspond with the information registered at the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket). Employees who are affected by changes to their first or last name will receive an email informing them that their information in KTH-HR differs from the information registered with the Swedish Tax Agency.
