| KTH-RES replaced by KTH-Expense – learn the new systemOn 2 February, KTH-RES will be replaced by KTH-Expense (Hogia), a new system that simplifies the handling of expenses, mileage, and travel allowances directly on your mobile phone or computer. At the same time, a new way of working is introduced, where the travel request is removed. Training sessions and additional supportTraining sessions will be held on 2, 9, and 19 February via Zoom, in Swedish and English. For questions and extra support, there will be drop-in sessions via Zoom every Tuesday–Thursday from 9:00–11:00 starting 3 February. The link to the Zoom meetings can be found on the project page.
Remember before the closure of KTH-RES- Complete ongoing expense reports before the end of January.

The social role of researchers in times of conflict Collaboration is inscribed as one of the university's three tasks, and the discussion about the relevance of research is lively. But we rarely talk about when and if it is a mandatory requirement. When an issue that research has interested in becomes political and controversial, should researchers then clarify the discussion? Or are there, on the contrary, limits to a researcher's social engagement? On February 17, Folke Tersman, professor of practical philosophy at Uppsala University and deputy CEO of the Institute for Futures Studies, will open KTH's collegial forum with a presentation of different perspectives and considerations in relation to our social role.
