What’s happening at Finance ITM |
“From 1 May, Finance ITM will become part of the ITM
School Office. This follows a decision taken by the University Director on 17
April,
whereby the five groups within the Finance Department that currently provide targeted support to KTH’s schools will be organised within their respective school offices. We look forward to joining the School Office, while continuing our joint development work with the Finance Department.
I would also like to share an upcoming change in our EU team. We are currently recruiting an EU economist, as Lisbeth Löfstrand will be taking a leave of absence from May to explore a different role.”

Upgrade to Windows 11 in May
KTH will upgrade all KTH Windows 10 platform computers to Windows 11. The upgrade is taking place in stages and 4-15 May it's ITM's turn. Why? - Windows 10 has reached the end of its lifecycle.
- Windows 11 offers improved security as it is created with higher security requirements by default.
What to do? You will get a notification on your computer when it's time for you to upgrade. Please make sure to be on campus, using the fixed network and follow the steps. The upgrade takes approx. two hours to complete. Upgrading of KTH Windows | Doctoral salary agreement to be time-basedKTH’s controversial collective agreement for research students is being revised. The new agreement will come into force in October and means that doctoral students' salaries will be increased annually rather than on a performance-related basis.
